Download the "open by Axis Bank" app in just a few clicks on your phone via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. You can also SMS or call us on our toll-free number as shown below to receive the download link.

Register with open by Axis Bank App
open by Axis Bank App provides an mPIN facility to keep all your transactions secure. As an added verification, provide authentication through your Internet Banking details, Debit Card details or OTP to use any feature on the open by Axis Bank App. Complete these two levels of registration on open by Axis Bank App by following the steps as shown below.
Note: Before proceeding, ensure that you have a registered mobile number with the Bank. Also ensure that its SIM card is present in the primary SIM slot of your mobile device. Keep your KYC details, customer ID, registered email address and debit card handy.
Level 1 Registration
- After installing the app, click on the Login button.
- Allow the app access to certain phone functions like calls and SMS.
- An SMS will be automatically sent from your Android device to verify your details. In case of an iOS device, you need to click “Send” on message inbox to trigger the SMS.
- Enter your name and accept the terms & conditions
- Set your six-digit mPIN of your choice to complete the Level 1 registration. You need to remember this mPIN as it will be required while transacting via open by Axis Bank App in the future
- You can opt to authenticate the app using your biometrics like FaceID or fingerprint, provided your device has them enabled
- You are now on the post login dashboard
Level 2 Registration
To use any feature on the app as a customer with existing Axis Bank CASA accounts, authenticate using one of the following options:
- Internet Banking credentials: enter your Login ID and password
- Debit Card credentials: enter your debit card number, card expiry date, and ATM PIN
- OTP: enter your customer ID, Date of Birth, PAN/Passport number (for resident/ NRI respectively). Enter the two separate OTPs sent to your registered mobile number and registered email address
If you are a standalone customer having credit card/ forex card/loan, enter the respective product details
Finally, enter your mPIN. Now you can access the features in the app

Features of open by Axis Bank
- Log using your MPIN
- Under Payments select Bill Pay
- Click Add Biller. Select from a list of categories of Billers
- Once you select the category, key in:
- Biller Details
- Personal Details
- Click on Add Biller
- Selection the options: Pay now or Pay later
- Add the amount and click Confirm to complete the transaction
Now pay for charges towards Broadband/Landline, Charity, DTH, Credit Card, Electricity, Gas, Insurance, Mobile, Mutual Fund, Subscription, Tax, Telecom, etc. instantly!
- Log using your MPIN
- Select Payments > Recharge
- Choose among recharge options: Mobile, DTH, Data Card, Google Pay
- Key in your :
- Consumer number
- Operator
- Payee Name
- Nick name
- Email id
- Once you enter details add the amount and click on Continue
- Verify the details and click on Confirm
- Log using your MPIN
- Under Quick Links select Mutual Funds
- Post verification of MF KYC, you will be directed to Top SIP and Funds Page
- Complete your FATCA declaration and key in your personal details
- Set up your investment profile. (You can change your risk profile every 24 hours)
- Link your bank account for investing in Mutual Funds
- Set the frequency of the SIP, tenure, and amount you wish to invest And it’s done!
- Login using your MPIN
- Go to the Credit Cards Tab to know your total outstanding amount, minimum amount due and due date
- Select ‘Convert to EMI’ among the enlisted options
- Select the transaction(s) you’d like to convert to EMI
- Choose the tenure to spread EMI over (6, 9, 12, 18 and 24-months)
- Click ‘Calculate’ to know your exact EMI amount
- Accept the terms and conditions, and click ‘Confirm’
- Verify the transaction using your MPIN And it’s done!
- Login using your MPIN
- Select Fund Transfer from Quick Links or Payments
- Choose Payee, or for first time transactions; Add Payee
- In case of the latter: key details such as payee name, mobile number, account number & bank IFSC code
- Authenticate via MPIN & OTP received
- Key in the amount to be transferred
- Choose payment Mode among IMPS, NEFT and Standard
- And Authenticate using your MPIN
